Plein Air – Saute les Moutons

The Lachine Rapids in Montreal is a favourite place for daredevil kayaking and Kodiak boat hurdles over the frothing waters known as Saute Les Moutons – “leap over the sheep”. I watched them go at it only long enough to get seasick and turned my back to paint this scene:

The only other problem, besides seasickness, is that the sound of running water eventually makes me need to pee and the bathrooms are 20 minutes away. I could probably have done more to this painting…. The hazards of Plein Air painting.

    Hi Linda
So sorry to miss the last 2 plein air paint outs. Shari Blaukopf workshop was excellent. She has the knowledge and the generosity to share. Very nice enviroment for all
