Moulin Legare, St Eustache

The water is so high this year that our beach was swallowed up. It used to end just before the white rock. The ducks and birds were happy anyway. A couple of Canada Geese walked right up to us, blithely ignoring us.

I was attracted to the composition of a laneway leading to a portal beyond the trees. Then, just as I was roughing in the drawing, that white bird flew right through that one perfect spot. I had no choice. I had to feature him as the main highlight.

It was a sunny warm day so special for this year. I was lucky to be seated near Tex Dawson and what a chic magnet is he with everyone stopping to chat. Kind and generous to all.
